After civil service I started studying computer science study at the Technical University of Braunschweig in October 1997, minoring in Business Administration.

After the pre-diploma ("Vordiplom") in September 1999 I majored in networking and communication technologies ("Telematik") at the Institute Of Operating Systems And Computer Networks, robotics at Institute Of Robotics And Process Control and computer design at the Institute For Computer And Communication Network Engineering. 

As a minor, I chose Management at the Institute Of Economics (Department Of Management)
